Yesterday, we set off around the corner for Retrospective Scooters, a shop we’ll have do the work on Stacy’s bike in the future. There we met owner Nile and his dog Hector. Our bikes will be in good hands. From there we rode to Islington to Dalston Motorcycles, where I passed my MOT inspections, good for one year. We decided to ride back up to the North Circular Road, over to the Ace Cafe. We hadn’t made it very far when it began to pour. The whole 30 minute journey soaked us. Despite a late lunch, we were happy to have some hot tea and chips when we reached the Ace. This was the famous Rocker hangout, celebrating it’s 70th year. Although predominantly a motorcycle cafe, they seem to have warmed to scooters over the years. After hitting the gift shop, we rode back to Turnpike Lane to warm up and head off to the pub. The next ride we take will be to the Isle of Wight!

Even wet you both look good and happy! Your baby is settling in better and has stopped waking up several times a night. She discovered some of my yarn and had it all over the house. I see Stacy checking out another dog and can read her mind, how is her baby doing and I miss her! Bet I’m right!

You look like you are having fun in spite of the bike problems and getting soaked. The pub visits probably help too. Tell Dez that Grandma and Grandpa received his post card and they were thrilled. Keep posting those great pics.
Be Safe.
